An entrepreneur and philanthropist who has balanced business development and social contribution within India’s industrial sector.
As a member of the Modi Group, he engaged in corporate activities and was involved in the establishment of India’s early private aviation venture, Modiluft (later SpiceJet). He also served as Chairman of the J.P. Morgan India Fund, contributing to business development in the finance and investment sector. He currently leads THE MODI INDIA FUND, participating in the advancement of international investment and finance.
He has also devoted significant efforts to education and culture, continuing philanthropic activities including support for the establishment of the International Institute of Fine Arts (IIFA) and the development of educational and religious facilities. In recognition of his public service contributions, he was appointed “Ambassador of Philanthropy” in the United Kingdom and has received international recognition.
As an Advisor to AWLF, drawing on experience in both economic activity and social contribution, he supports women’s economic independence and the development of next-generation leaders. Demonstrating the potential of private-sector-driven social development, he is involved in promoting sustainable growth and collaboration across Asia.
