Profile
Mr. Lalit Bakhshi has played a pivotal role in strengthening Japan–India relations and economic cooperation for over five decades. As one of the longest-serving members of the Japan–India Economic Committee, he has supported major infrastructure and industry initiatives, including metro rail, high-speed rail, automotive, and pharmaceutical projects. He has also served as Advisor to the Modi Group and former Chairman of Golden Eagle Group, contributing significantly to bilateral economic collaboration.
Beyond business, he has been deeply committed to advancing peace in Asia, women’s empowerment, and leadership development. A key supporter of AWLF since its founding, he has contributed to initiatives such as global youth summits and cross-border leadership programs. Through his longstanding vision and dedication, he continues to inspire cooperation and mutual trust across nations.
