AWLF Luncheon Meeting
We invited Mrs. Masako Perera, wife of Sri Lankan Ambassador to Japan, H.E. Rodney Perera, and held a luncheon meeting.
Ambassador H.E. Perera has served as Ambassador to the United States, Rome, Kenya, Norway, Belgium, and other countries around the world, and was appointed Ambassador to Japan last year. His wife, Mrs. Masako Perera, is Japanese and was born and raised in a temple in Gunma Prefecture. She has lived in many countries around the world. Mrs. Perera, who has lived in many countries around the world, told us many stories.
She told us that the values and concepts of “life” differ from country to country.
And concepts of “life” differ from country to country, and these differences have a great impact on people’s lives.
Education was also a topic of discussion. What is the essential way to live a fulfilling life? It was a very enriching time for us to talk. I am very happy to have this opportunity to talk with her.
Not to live for the sake of living. Live to enjoy life.
The values, concepts, and beliefs that underlie it. What we believe in determines the choices we make in life.
Meeting a wonderful female role model is a great opportunity to come into contact with many values and sensibilities, and to expand the values and sensibilities you have built up.
We hope that many women will be empowered by being touched by the lives of female leaders, and we have compiled our interview with them into this article.
Thank you very much for your valuable time, Mrs. Masako Perera.
