Speaks at the international conference "Horasis Asia Meeting"

Ms. Ai Sasaki, Chairperson of the Corporation, spoke at the Horasis Asia Meeting, an international conference held on December 3 – 4, 2023.

The Horasis Asia Meeting is an annual international conference where business leaders, politicians, and others from Asia and around the world gather to discuss a wide range of issues related to the Asian economy. It is also referred to as the emerging economies’ version of the Davos Conference. The location of the conference changes every year, and in 2023 it was held in the new city of Binh Duong, Vietnam.

Ms. Sasaki participated as a speaker in the session “Empowerment of Asian Women and Girls”. Together with eight women leaders from various countries, they discussed the actual gender gap in their countries and their opinions for change.

The Asia Women Leaders Forum (AWLF) aims to connect across borders, generations, and industries to envision Asia’s ideal future together. This time, we were truly able to connect with women leaders from different countries across borders, generations, and industries, and exchange opinions and thoughts toward the empowerment of women together.
