“AWLF Retreat Well-Being Program in Mt. Koya” was held on July 8-9, 2023.

The year 2023 marks the 1,250th anniversary of the birth of Kobo-Daishi Kukai. Mt. Koya, located in Wakayama Prefecture, is a sacred site that Kobo-Daishi opened as a place for monks to practice asceticism.

On this occasion, we were able to hold a special private screening of the video work “LIFE® Inochi” and a private viewing of the “Inochi Exhibition” sublimated with the power of live-action photography and words in the Okuden of Kongobuji Temple in Mt. Koya, a sacred place normally reserved for the Imperial Family and others. We would like to thank Feel & Sense, a general incorporated association, for connecting us with these precious opportunities.

The retreat was a rich time spent healing body and soul in the great outdoors, as well as in touch with the prayers and thoughts of Mt. Koya, which was founded with the wish for the happiness of society and people.

We also presented certificates of appreciation to Yamaguchi Heavy Industries, Ltd. and Feel & Sense, a general incorporated association, for their continued support of the Asia Women Leaders Forum (AWLF).
