Born in Minato-ku, Tokyo. Educated at Seisen International School from kindergarten through high school. After graduation, she entered the Department of Comparative Culture in the Faculty of Foreign Studies at Sophia University, majoring in Business and Economics. After graduating from university in 1990, she worked as a freelance personality for various FM radio and TV stations for about eight years. In 1998, she went to the United States to study at the Gemological Institute of America in California, where she obtained a GG certificate for gem appraising and appraisal. Just before she was about to start working in the gem industry, she learned that NIHON DENTO KOUGYO Co., Ltd., the company founded by her late father, was in danger of bankruptcy, so she hurried back to Japan. In 2000, she became the CEO with the aim of rebuilding the company.
