An entrepreneur and philanthropist who has been engaged in both business activities and social contribution within India’s industrial sector.

As a member of the Modi Group, he participated in corporate activities and was involved in the establishment of the private aviation venture Modiluft (later SpiceJet). He also served as Chairman of the J.P. Morgan India Fund, contributing to business development in the finance and investment sector. He is currently involved in international investment and finance initiatives through THE MODI INDIA FUND.

He has continuously engaged in activities in the fields of education and culture, including supporting the establishment of the International Institute of Fine Arts (IIFA) and undertaking philanthropic initiatives related to educational and religious facilities. In recognition of his public service contributions, he has received international acknowledgment, including being introduced in the United Kingdom as an “Ambassador of Philanthropy.”

As an Advisor to AWLF, drawing on experience in both economic activity and social contribution, he supports women’s economic independence and the development of next-generation leaders. Demonstrating the potential of private-sector-driven social value creation, he is involved in promoting collaboration across Asia.
