Asia Women Leaders Forum (AWLF) is proud to continue its monthly online summit series: “A Third Place to Connect with Asian Women Leaders.”
Our second session will be held on Friday, August 8, 2025, from 19:00 to 20:30 (JST) via Zoom (free participation). This session will be conducted in English.
We are honored to welcome Mrs. Masako Perera, who served as the Spouse of the Sri Lankan Ambassador to Japan, as our featured guest speaker. Under the theme “For the Future of Our Planet and the Future of Ourselves,” Mrs. Perera will share insights from her unique life journey.
Born in a Buddhist temple in Kiryu, Gunma, and raised at the intersection of Japanese tradition and global society, she has lived in countries including New York, Nairobi, Rome, Oslo, Brussels, and Washington, D.C., accompanying her diplomat husband and engaging deeply in cross-cultural, educational, and women’s empowerment initiatives. She now dedicates herself to international etiquette education, Ayurveda, English instruction, and more.

The AWLF Online Summit is designed as a dialogue-driven event, featuring a keynote speech followed by small-group discussions. It is a space where perspectives and compassion expand across generations and borders.
We at AWLF believe that the love and strength of 2 billion women across Asia can spark a global cycle of kindness and positive change.
