On July 23, 2023, we were invited by H. E. Dr.Durga Bahadur Subedi, Ambassador of Nepal Embassy in Japan, to participate in “The 13th Nepal Festival 2023″ with Mr. Rajiv Sharma (Former Additional Director General, Government of India, Former Additional Director General, Government of India, New Delhi, India) and Dr. Shailja Sharma (Director, United Nations Statistical Institute for Asia and the Pacific).

It was a very hot day in the height of summer, but the Nepalese food, singing, dancing, and stores were as vibrant as the sun.

There are approximately 140,000 Nepalese living in Japan. We feel that it is essential for Japan to create synergy and coexist with Nepal and other Asian countries in order to solve social issues. First of all, it is very important to have this kind of opportunity to learn about each other’s culture and background.
