Guest Speaker: Ms. Hisako Matsui (Film Director & Author)
On Friday, January 9, 2026, we will host our 5th online summit via Zoom.
This event is part of our ongoing series of interactive summits, designed as “A Third Place to Connect with Asian Women Leaders.”
We warmly invite you to join us for an evening of heartfelt dialogue, inspiration, and shared leadership across borders and generations.
Our special guest for this session is Ms. Hisako Matsui, a renowned film director and author who has remained at the forefront of creative and social expression for decades.
Ms. Matsui made her directorial debut in her 50s and has continued to challenge herself across genres as documentary films, feature films, and novels.
Drawing from her extraordinary life experience and creative practice, she will share insights on “living as a mature woman,” “the power of expression,” and “how individuals engage with society” in the era of the 100-year life.
“A life that challenges age becomes courage for someone else.”
AWLF Online Summits are dialogue-based gatherings, combining inspiring talks by our guest speakers with meaningful exchanges among participants.
This session marks a powerful and hopeful beginning to 2026.
