Takako Morinokami

(Japan)
Director, Asian Women Leaders Forum
Former Flight Attendant, Japan Airlines

Profile

A community leader who has fostered international collaboration through relationships of trust between people, building both organizational development as a corporate professional and over thirty years of Japan–India private exchange.

She began her career as a cabin attendant at Japan Airlines (JAL), and later, as a manager, became involved in corporate development and human resource cultivation. She has long contributed to the education and training of female employees, supporting the promotion of women’s active participation in organizations from the field.

At the same time, she has continued Japan–India exchange as her life’s work for more than three decades. From supporting the daily lives of Indians visiting Japan to facilitating business connections, she has worked to deepen mutual understanding between the two countries while building family-like relationships. Through ongoing exchange grounded in trust between individuals, she has contributed to strengthening ties at the private-sector level.

Currently, as a Director of AWLF, she supports the creation of a co-creative space where leaders from across Asia can engage in dialogue with a sense of security, centered on hospitality and mutual understanding. Drawing on the inclusiveness and coordination skills cultivated over many years, she works to build relationships in which people from diverse backgrounds connect at a human level.

Guided by the belief that the accumulation of dialogue and trust generates collaboration beyond borders, she continues her activities as a bridge that gently reconnects people and society.
