Chairwoman of the Pheu Thai Party’s strategic committee, Sudarat Keyuraphan held many positions in the cabinet and served multiple terms as a Member of Parliament. She was appointed Minister of Agriculture and Cooperative in 2006 when her party won over 61% of the vote. She was her party’s prime minister candidate in the 2019 Thai general election. and although the party won the most constituency seats, it did not win any party-list seats.
In 2003 she won the Tobacco-Free World Award from WHO and Mental Health Princess Award in supporting Mental health from Her Royal Highness Princess Galyani Vadhana.
