Profile

Shungo Oyama (born 1974) started with Judo and later became a professional fighter, achieving numerous accolades. He was the runner-up in the All Japan University Weight-Class Championship, participated in the World University Championships, and made his mark in K-1 and PRIDE. In 2012, he became the first Middleweight Champion of ROADFC.

After retiring, Oyama developed Japan’s first corporate training program, “Fightness,” which applies combat sports to team building and mental toughness. He has instructed over 100 companies. Additionally, he founded the You-Do Association, supporting children with disabilities and those in child welfare institutions.

He has authored books, including “Scientifically Proven Stretching to Strengthen the Mind” and “Fightness: The Method to Align Your Body and Mind Like Business Elites.” Through his training programs and social contributions, Oyama has had a wide-reaching impact.
