Profile
In 1989, she joined Sumitomo Chemical Co., Ltd. (then Sumitomo Chemical Industries, Ltd.).
For approximately 20 years, she was engaged in the development of display materials, including liquid crystals, optical films for LCDs, and polymer organic EL (OLED) luminescent materials.
She later worked in the Business Promotion Department and the OLED Business Development Office, where she led commercialization efforts for OLED displays and lighting.
After serving as an Executive Officer at Sumitomo Chemical, she was appointed President and CEO of Sumika Technical Information Center Co., Ltd. in June 2020.
She currently serves as an Outside Director at KOKUSAI ELECTRIC CORPORATION, R-Biologene Inc., and SBS Holdings, Inc.
